Our 1990 Miata has hit the 25 year old model year mark. Georgia doesn't have any requirements other than the car be 25 years old so why not?

That's hilarious.

Love it. Especially the little graphic. Only 18 more years for my car!

Awesome! I would get antique plates on my cars if MA didn't charge a crapload of extra money for them and restrict driving usage to parades and club functions only. You have to pay a higher renewal fee annually for the plate instead of the normal renewal fee every other year. Dumb.
I love that they are on a Miata.

Every cop that gets behind you will be triple checking your plate.

I'll probably do the same thing with mine when she gets of age.

I had antique plates on my 83" 300TD. Drove it everyday, never had a problem even when I got pulled over for making an illegal turn on red. Cops really have no way of proving anything if they pull you over.

Cops have no way of proving anything, but it's the insurance company I worry about...

Good point, I had the car less than a year so I did actually drive within the mileage limit I told them.

I'm so disappointed it's 35 years in Kansas.
It would be awesome to have antique tags on my CRX.
